It is finished in Fjord Metallic over blue leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter M30 inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 16? light alloy Alpina-style wheels, H&R lowering springs, power-operated windows, a Nardi steering wheel, and a cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2019, and work in 2023 involved servicing the brakes, resealing the differential, and replacing the spark plugs, distributor, front cover gaskets, valve cover gasket, and clutch slave cylinder. This E9 is now offered in Pompano Beach, Florida with spare wheels, a BMW Classic Certificate, recent service records, and a Pennsylvania title.

The car came finished from the factory in Fjord Metallic (37) and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. The hood seal was replaced in 2023.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the differential resealed during the work in 2023.
