Offered for sale is this very nice example of a 1969 Kaiser Jeep Jeepster Commando. Powered by the optional 160 horsepower Dauntless V6 which was the preferred power plant with its 235 lb·ft of torque. This Commander is 4 wheel drive, making this rare Jeep very sought after. The very straight body and nice paint shows this Jeep very well. The V6 runs great and the automatic transmission shifts very well. The chrome, glass and trim are all very nice. We purchased this Jeep in Southern California for our private collection. This would make an excellent choice for anyone looking for an investment quality Commando. Information on the Jeepster Commando

The Jeepster Commando, a sometimes overlooked model in the Kaiser/Willys lineup, was first introduced be Kaiser Motors in 1966 to compete withe the Toyota Land Cruiser and Ford Bronco. A throwback to the original Willys Jeepster, Jeepster C101, as the first Commando was called, was produced from 1966 to 1971 and came in several different body styles, including the station wagon, convertible, pickup, and roadster. Equipped with the F-Head Hurricane Straight-4, the C101 also came with a 160hp Dauntless V6.
